The VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 grand final peaked at over 305.3K viewers, one of the lowest results in the regional league’s history. Moreover, after several seasons of undisputed dominance, VCT Pacific fell behind VCT Americas by Peak Viewers and lost its status as Valorant’s most popular regional league.
VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 viewership statistics
VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 broadcasts generated a total of 22.5 million Hours Watched, up 10% from Pacific Stage 1 earlier this year. However, Average Viewers declined by 20.5%, while Peak Viewers fell by as much as 42.8%.
The main reason for this drop was the early elimination of Paper Rex, one of the league’s biggest audience draws. The team won Stage 1, generating significant viewer interest, but failed to reach even the top four in Stage 2.
Another factor was the sharp decline across several broadcast languages. Average Viewers on English-language streams fell from 46K to 31.3K, while viewership for Vietnamese and Indonesian broadcasts halved. Both languages are key to the Pacific region not only in Valorant, but across other esports titles as well.
The audience decline affected both official broadcasts and leading community casters. The official VCT Pacific YouTube channel, for example, lost around 33.5% of its Average Viewers compared with the previous stage. The channels of Pujan “GOFNS” Mehta and Hashimoto “bijusan” Ren, two prominent Valorant community casters, also recorded significant declines.
Most popular VCT 2026 tournaments by Peak Viewers
The VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 grand final peaked at over 305.3K viewers, the league’s lowest result since its launch in the region. Only the VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 promotion tournament attracted a smaller audience.
Among this season’s regional Stage 2 leagues, VCT Pacific ranks second by Peak Viewers behind VCT 2026: Americas Stage 2. Earlier this year, however, the situation was reversed: Pacific led all regions and recorded nearly twice the peak audience of Americas. The last time VCT Americas outperformed VCT Pacific was during the VCT Kickoff tournaments in early 2025.
