English and French remained the two largest broadcast languages, while Arabic viewership grew sharply compared with the 2025 World Championship. Arabic made year-on-year gains of 214.4% and 294.1% in its watch time and peak concurrent viewership, respectively.

Spanish- and Portuguese-language broadcasts also recorded year-over-year growth in both Hours Watched and Peak Viewers. FURIA Esports and FUT Esports both reached the Playoffs, with FUT advancing to the semifinals for its best result at an event of this level.

Community casting remained a major part of the tournament’s viewership, with Kamel "Kamet0" Kebir, Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart, Mofareh "drb7h" Al Asiri and other creators among the leading co-streams.

Despite the strength of French-language viewership overall, French teams were largely absent from the tournament’s most-watched matches. Team Falcons featured in the two highest-peaking series, while Spacestation Gaming also appeared prominently alongside strong viewership for Jynxzi’s co-stream.

The World Championship capped a record-setting 2026 for Rocket League esports. Three RLCS events from this season — the World Championship, Boston Major, and Paris Major — now occupy the top three positions in the game’s all-time Peak Viewers ranking.

Team Falcons beat Spacestation Gaming 4:0 in the Grand Final to clinch its biggest title yet. The Riyadh-based organization capped off a three-year journey at the most coveted event in the Rocket League calendar, progressing from 3rd - 4th in 2024 to runner-up last year to finally become world champion.

For those looking to dive deeper into these record-breaking numbers, Esports Charts provides comprehensive statistical packages for the tournament. Their detailed reporting offers exhaustive insights into the viewership dynamics, including breakdowns by platforms, top-performing teams, and individual channel contributions that drove this historic milestone.

What would have made this historic triumph all the sweeter was the fact that Team Falcons had to run the gauntlet, starting in the Play-In and then grinding through the Playoffs Lower Bracket to deliver a historic victory for the team and region. It also meant that Samy "dralii" Hajji claimed his second world title with an entirely different roster, having also clinched victory in 2024 with Team BDS.
